The son of Socceroos legend Tim Cahill has signed with A-League membership Brisbane Roar.
Shae Cahill, 18, has joined the Roar on a multi-season deal after spending the previous 4 years with the English Premier League membership Everton’s academy.
“Securing such a promising younger midfielder is a testomony to our membership’s new imaginative and prescient of integrating youthful expertise into our squad and first group atmosphere,” Roar chief government officer Kaz Patafta.

Last season, Cahill made 9 appearances for the Everton under-18 group.
His father Tim – an Everton nice who scored 50 objectives in 108 appearances for the Socceroos – expressed his delight following the announcement of the signing.
