“We remorse to tell that, regardless of the efforts of the medical crew, he sadly handed away in hospital on Tuesday Dec. 13, after being within the intensive care unit for 3 days,” the Supreme Committee stated in an announcement.

Kibue is the second confirmed employee to die throughout this World Cup.
