Iran coach Carlos Queiroz has referred to as on Jurgen Klinsmann to resign from a FIFA specialists panel after the previous Germany striker accused the Iranians of gamesmanship of their World Cup win over Wales.

Klinsmann’s remarks drew a livid response from Iran’s soccer federation and Queiroz, who branded the German World Cup winner’s remarks a “shame to soccer.”

Speaking to the BBC on Sunday, Klinsmann stated he deliberate to contact Queiroz to “calm issues down”, denying he had criticised the supervisor or his employees.
