Well Jason Cummings appears to have cheekily brought on a stir in France.
And Olivier Giroud’s response to it was excellent.
Days after Cummings claimed the French celebrity pretended he couldn’t converse English to keep away from a shirt swap with him on the World Cup, Giroud has delivered an elite response, sharing a photograph of one other Socceroos jersey he’d picked up.

Cummings earlier this week informed Channel 10’s The Project he’d tried to swap his jersey with Kylian Mbappe after Australia’s 4-1 loss to France of their World Cup opener. And when that plan fell via, the 27-year-old turned to Giroud, who “simply walked previous me, pretended he by no means spoke English”.
But on Thursday night time, Giroud cheekily offered his facet of the story.
Giroud shared a picture on his Twitter account of a Socceroos jersey belonging to Cummings’ teammate, Jackson Irvine, that he appears to have collected in Doha.
“Hi @jacksonirvine_ how is my English mate?” Giroud wrote on Twitter alongside a number of laughing emojis.
Giroud’s tweet comes after Cummings shared his World Cup expertise on Channel 10.
“After the France recreation, I truly tried to get Mbappe – neglect Giroud, I went for the highest boy Mbappe – and he informed me to fulfill him within the change rooms,” he stated on The Project this week.

Cummings might solely snigger off his encounter with the French celebrity duo.
