Legendary soccer commentator John Motson has died aged 77.
The BBC pundit celebrated 50 years within the job in 2018 earlier than hanging up his mic in May that 12 months, The Sun reported.

Motson – often called the voice of soccer – was famed for his signature sheepskin coat.

Motson was born in Salford and commenced his journalist profession in Barnet – the workforce he helps.
He labored as a reporter between 1963 and 1967 earlier than being employed for BBC Radio 2.
His first radio commentary was an Everton v Derby conflict in December 1969.
